How to automaticallygenerate a CNC part programfrom a CAD model using spectraCAD Engraver

The CAD/CAM based CNC part programming is done using spectraCAD engraver, which is a Windows based software package for two dimensional part programming.  It allows users to automatically generate a CNC part program starting from a two dimensional model of the part. The figure shows a screenshot the spectraCAD engraver software.

Title Bar
The Title Bar shows the name of the current drawing.
Menu Bar
The Menu Bar contains the spectraCAD pull down menus.
Tool Bar
The Tool Bar contains buttons that correspond to frequently used commands. The Tool Bar can be visible or hidden. The five tool bars are Modify, Draw, View, Tool and Snap. Each one contains buttons associated with commands in one spectraCAD pull-down menu.
Coordinate Type Button
The Coordinate Type button sets the type of coordinates in the Coordinate Display Box. Clicking the button changes the type of coordinates displayed.
Coordinate Display Box
The Coordinate Display Box shows the current position of the cursor in the Drawuing Area. The position is given in the type of coordinates set by the Coordinate Type button.
Type Button
Clicking the Type button brings up various dialog boxes in which you can enter coordinates, distances, factors, and dimensions during centain Draw and Modify operations. The Type button performs the same function as the Type command under the Tools Menu.
Layers Button
Clicking the Layers button brings up a dialog box in which you can change layer properties.
Layer Display Box
The Layer Display box shows the name and color of a drawing layer. The layer displayed depends on which entries are selected. Clicking the down arrow brings up a list of all the layers in the drawing. You can use this to list to change the current layer and to move entries between layers.
Drawing Area
The Drawing area is where you view and draw entities.
Status Bar
The Status Bar displays useful information while you work in spectraCAD.
Cursor

The cursor is the point-and-click device, which you control with the mouse. You can select entries, select commands, and pick points with the cursor.
