Q What operating systems are required to run TCAD laboratory?

A Pentium 4 PC having nominal configuration with OS Windows XP and VISTA should work, however, with several applications (Java, Adebe Flash) installed.

Q What is Adobe Flash and why do I need it?

A Many of the web applications use Adobe Flash and you need to have Adobe Flash installed in your PC.

Q What are the minimum system requirements?

Q What is Java and why do I need it?

A Java is a sophisticated software platform that TCAD laboratory is built on. It provides user interface components, graphics rendering, internet access functionality and more in a way that is independant of the underlying operating system. This means that Java must be installed on your computer in order to run the application.

Q Where can I download Java?

A TCAD laboratory requires at least Java SE 6 or later. Many personal computers will likely not have Java SE 6 installed.
