Removing random noise from an image using a filter :

By filtering the image the background noise gets reduced and the distribution of the intensities become more uniform .

• Click on filter option in the tool bar, or right click on image and obtain image context menu.
• On the filter tab choose smooth 5*5 operations to perform smoothing the picture; apply twice to smooth the picture.
