The programming and control of the Scorbot robot is done using Scorbase, which is a Windows based robot programming language. It provides a menu driven structure.
To start Scorbase,
Select Start | Programs | Scorbase-Pro.

The Scorbase opening screen comprises of the following:
- A Title Bar containing the screen name and the usual Windows controls for sizing and closing the application screen.
- A Menu Bar containing all Scorbase command menus and options.
- A Toolbar containing icons for the most commonly used options.
- A Status Bar displaying information regarding the Scorbase software, modes of operation, current activity, etc. When you position the mouse over an icon, a description of the icon appears in the status bar.
If Scorbase opens in Off-line mode or the controller is not detected, the program will load and operate in Off-line mode.
To start using the robot with the Controller:
1. Turn the Controller on by pressing the switch.
2. Change to On-line by selecting Options | On-line.
3. Enable control of the axes; do one of the following:
Select Options | Control On.
Click the Search Home icon.
Scorbase can now run user-defined programs into the Projects\<robot type> directory.
