Raw data is the data collected from the source which is not processed or manipulated. Raw data samples are used to compare the collection of data. Data samples mostly help to analysis various types of data base. These data can be input to computers or it can be used for the survey or gathering statistics. These raw data can be obtained from machine modelling through the data acquisition. It is further processed to signal analysis to know the condition and characterstics of machine. These raw data can be saved into spreadsheet which can be used to signal analysis.

Data acquisition and data acquisition system (abbreviated with acronym DAS) typically involves the conversion of analog waveforms into digital values for processing. The components of data acquisition system include:

1. Sensors that convert physical parameters to electrical signals.

2. Signal condition circuitry to convert sensor signals into the form that can be converted into digital values.

3. Analog to Digital converters, which convert conditioned sensor signal to digital values
