Acoustics and Condition Monitoring Laboratory
(IIT Kharagpur)
It is a state-of-the-art research laboratory consisting of equipment for noise source identification, NVH, room & auditorium acoustics, underwater acoustical studies and acoustical material characterization. The major equipment housed in this lab are multi channel data recorder and simulator, laser and ultrasonic based dynamic measurement systems, Omni-directional sound source, Head and Torso Simulator, apart from various noise and vibration transducers and software. This lab caters to the post graduate course on Machinery Fault Diagnosis & Signal Processing and Acoustics & Noise Control.
